Brazil’s National Union for Customs Officers (Sindisfisco) have been striking since August 19, 2015. The strike is on-going and expected to continue until further notice. Currently only essential customs activities are being performed and all ports are being impacted. Shipments are still being cleared at airports, but significant delays are occurring.
