All marine terminals at the Port of New York and New Jersey will be closed on Monday, January 25. In accordance with the Winter Plan, free time will be extended and per diems will be waved for Monday. An update will follow later on Monday regarding the status of operations. The Port request that there be no overnight queuing on the public roadways and alert truckers that they should plan on staggering their arrival when the port reopens. The port is working around the clock to remove this record amount of snow.
